Electra-City Motors announces a dealership agreement with Netgain Controllers (www.ngcontrols.com) to supply the Southern California area with the most sophisticated electric vehicle controllers on the market. Already a Netgain Motors dealer, Electra-City motors is expanding its product line to meet is customer demands.

Growing out of their Escondido facility, Electra-City Motors announces a move to Vista, CA to a larger location. “This move allows us to keep our growth rate under control and gives us enough room to handle many conversions and projects at one time” Says Joseph S. Gottlieb, President. The dealership portion of Electra-City Motors will be moved at the end of the year making a smooth transition. The city of Vista, CA has welcomed Electra-City with open arms.

Lloyd P. Rose is named Operations Manager of Electra-City Motors. As an avid electric vehicle owner and enthusiast, Lloyd will bring his skills to expanding Electra-City Motors capabilities. Lloyd is currently Secretary of the Electric Vehicle Association of San Diego.

ZAP XEBRA Electric Car in San Diego

Also, being electric, it can go inside buildings and warehouses where fuel cars can’t because of exhaust fumes. The truck is also available in a right-hand drive for parking enforcement.

Electra-City Motors’ goal is to provide San Diego with a realistic alternative that allows people to use a 100% electric vehicle that requires no gas and feel good about not emitting gasses that cause pollution. One gallon of gasoline produces 22 pounds of CO2. CO2 is a greenhouse gas believed to be a cause of global warming.
