Growing out of their Escondido facility, Electra-City Motors announces a move to Vista, CA to a larger location. “This move allows us to keep our growth rate under control and gives us enough room to handle many conversions and projects at one time” Says Joseph S. ZAP Electric Car Dealership Opens in San Diego County!

ESCONDIDO, Calif., Nov. 28, 2006 — Electra-City Motors will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, December 2, 2006. The new electric car dealership for ZAP, located at 738 W. Washington Avenue is close to the junction of I-15 and CA-78 in Escondido. Grand opening festivities, including complimentary food and drinks, will begin at 10 AM and continue until 3 PM on December 2nd.

ZAP XEBRA Electric Car in San Diego

“I believe in electric vehicles and the need to reduce our dependency on foreign oil,” says owner Joseph S. Gottlieb. “When I first drove the new ZAP XEBRA, I knew that there would be great demand for this innovative, 100% electric vehicle.”
